Just when I thought I'd found my town bike
(Honda CM400T) I found the following ad:

1969 Triumph Tiger 650cc right side shift,
    4-speed, single carburetor, kick-start only,
restored six years ago to original.
Avon Super Venom tires almost new. New battery.
15,000 all original miles. Engine/frame numbers
match. Starts up fine. Includes HJC half-helmet,
size large, Triumph repair manual and Roy Bacon’s
Triumph restoration guide books. Needs new
silencers on the pipes, some pedal rubber,
    has bent handlebar. CDN$5500 obo

Despite everything I've read about the maintenance
issues and the Lucas electrics I still harbor
a yearning for a vintage Brit twin.
Could this be The One? Opinions invited.

Alas, my ISP doesn't carry that n/g. Thanks for
    the clues anyway.

Having had a later '76 Bonnie for a couple of years, using it as my
main means of transport in London, all I can say is you'll love it or
hate it as it blows up, catches fire, loses random parts at will, spews
oil every where whilst ensuring you get your monies worth out of the
    RAC.

    You'll love it - just don't expect to be anywhere on time . . . . .
