Opinions / Info on Suzuki V-Strom 1000

    I see that my local dealers are now discounting this model and I'm
    tempted.

    Anyone own one or have an opinion? I'm sure it can't be as good as the
    KTM Adventure or the BMW R1200 GS but how does it compare to the other
    opposition I'm thinking Varadero, Tiger etc.?

    Also does anyone know if the model is due for a replacement or
    significant upgrade.
