open invite trip, July 2010

Leaving UK Sat 10th July about 0830 on the Tesco Clubcard train. 3 nights
in Belgian Ardennes at Bouillon. This bit organised by some random bloke
off the internet plus some other randoms from UKGSer. Opportunity to drink
Belgian beer, visit Battle of Bulge sites or ride a motorbike on twisty
roads. Random bloke is returning to UK on Tues 13th.

I will be staying on the Continent for the rest of the week[1] and anyone
here is welcome to join me. Taking the Route des Cretes down to Ace's place
in Alsace is a possibility, depending on his T&Cs of course: no cunts
obviously and bribes of British Ale help. He makes some people sleep in the
basement.

The journey back north would probably go over the Ballon d'Alsace and
include my favourite areas of France, Burgundy & Champagne. Brownz has
recommended a place near Beaune which I fancy checking out and Reims is
always a favourite of mine as the last stopover before the long leg home.
