You're in the shit, and rightly so. Your insurance is probably not valid as
you ahven't got a CBT, and it's normally a requirement for insurance. So you
either lied to the insurance company or you're breaching one of their rules.
So, that's other than in accordance with a licence and probably no
insurance. 7points and £300 fine. You deserve it too :)

Potentially a lot. When you present your documents the clerk has to
complete a form. If the clerk is on the ball he/she will work out that your
insurance is invalid as you do not hold the appropriate CBT certificate.
This will mean a court appearance ....

However, if the clerk is a lazy **** and just ticks the relvant boxes then
"no further action" will be taken.

This all assumes you were "just given a producer" and you did not commit an
offence that would result in a closer inspection of your documents.

david cuss <> spewed forth the following...

    According to the DVLA website,

LC20. Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. 3-6 points.

I imagine your insurance will be invalid as well, as the insurance will be
assuming you have your CBT cert. So.

IN10. Using a vehicle uninsured for 3rd-party risks. 6-8 points.

You`re potentially quite well nadgered as you`re eligible to go over the 12
point "fucked" mark. Be as sorry as you can when you take your producer in.

It may be an idea to get your CBT in time for the court appearance, or if
you can find a riding school who`ll book you in at the drop of a hat, before
the 7 days run out on your ticket. Stress how sorrowful you are.

A similar tactic to this worked for me years ago, uninsured Vespa Primavera.
I was 17 at the time
Took my ticket in with my new (starting next day from the ticket date)
insurance policy, went through the whole "I cant believe how stupid I`ve
been. Woe is me." routine, the DS said "I`ll see what I can do.." Never
    heard anything after that..

Finally, be prepared to change your email addy to Raleigh.Grifter@ntl.....
    ;o)

You would think you'd know not to use 'text speak' and not to top post
    Now this seems reasonable.

Well, you see, you /did/ commit an offense, inasmuch as you rode your bike
without having a CBT. Whether this is spotted is another matter. You have
to do the CBT course even if you have a full car license nowadays.

What is more serious, and may incur a range of penalties, is that you
top-posted in ukrm. This is really not the thing to do around here.

    david cuss says...
Does the producer say that you have to produce a CBT certificate? If
not, then don't say a word about it when you take the other documents in
and walk away without a fine or points. But you know what will happen
    next time.

I have nothing but disdain for those daft cunts who ride without
insurance, and no CBT means no insurance.

Did anyone else get a plaintive 'what's top post?' email or do I just
look less likely to maim/more helpful because I'm a girl?

Did I mention the five question marks? It's a sign I tell you.
Don't have to be if I don't want to. I can be common. I can say ****
and everything. Most other words seem to be escaping me though. Time
    for bed.

So why didn't Filth (second contribution to this thread) get criticised by
anyone? How do you acquire such 'permitted top posting rights'?

You've received a lot of critical replies suggesting you're likely to
be done for riding without insurance. This is not the case.
Technically, perhaps, your insurance might be invalidated by this, but
you will not be prosecuted for failing to have insurance.

And I have nothing but disdain for hypocritical cunts who can't
remember what it was like to be young. Like you never broke/break the
    law, eh loz?

FWIW the last time I rode without insewerants was oh, about a week
ago, when I last took the Honda out. Before that would have been when
riding Ginge's bike with Fluffy on the back last month.
