  1. You're getting too old to cut the mustard. You'll be
a unreconstructed 80s throwback before the decade
    is out...

He saw Captain Haddock use the word once and thought it sounded good.

If it has then in all likelihood it will be round the corner a few yards

  6. iconoclasts
People who smash icons, either physical or metaphorical, including
plastering over religious paintings and murals. Physical icons, paintings,
and statues are usually destroyed by iconoclasts because they seem them as
contrary to proper worship, being akin to idolatry.[/QUOTE]

You mean you don't smash a couple of darsy and ben blaney icons when you
    get home each evening?

How very odd - my day is incomplete without the performance of this
    ritual act.

On special days I throw a can of paint over the specially enlarged
images of you (from your TV appearance) I possess. It is an
    enlightening and spiritually rewarding act.

  9. Funnily enough, and I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I
think it's a slang term in French, along the lines of "arse".

  11. Would you need an open-faced helmet for preference? Or would the bike
'hear' the command from inside a full-fact helmet 'by the power of
    your mind'?
