now I *don't* believe I wanted to do that...

    ....crash the CD200 that is.

Overtaking slow-ish column of cars; ped runs out in front of me,
between moving cars; grab brake; crash.

Damage - me: not really - slightly sprained wrist; bike: nothing much,
but not rideable, because RHS grip/switch arrangement pulled away from
bike, snapping throttle cable and a couple of ignition wire things.

So: don't suppose there's anyone in the North London area with a van
    free?

It may well get nicked, I suppose, given that I've left it mid way
between Wood Green and Tottenham, but it'd have to be a fairly
desperate thief, given it's not exactly ride-able.

Bet it was that Ped you nearly flattened on the Zebra, lying in wait for
    revenge :)

    Glad your not badly hurt.

Bad luck with the bike switchgear, but it's only a CD200.

I might be able to get a driver to you. Could you meet him there?

heh - not at all the same sort of circumstance - I wasn't even riding
    like a **** today.
    it's a pity it's my wanking hand - still, Angie's said she's happy to
lend a hand under the circumstances.
nothing's really broken - just pulled apart.

don't sweat it - there's no hurry - either it's nicked already, or
it'll be there for years. Maybe I could borrow your van at the
    weekend?

    safety ;o)

    Clumsy ****.
If this is an early attempt to duck out of the Frankfurt run, I don't
    think it's going to work.

Tough luck, hope the wrist recovers pronto.
I think it's time they brought back front number plates on bikes. Something
    in a fine surgical steel?
Pedos *never* walked in front of my Trooper (with bars) which suggests that
they do see you but don't give a shit.

This is an attempt to duck out of lending it to someone to do the
