I am delighted to report that the Steam Racket company do not charge
    extra for trailers.

In a /most/ appropriate way, the list of "Similar Items" is headed by:

" NEW 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WITH GOLD BELLS CAKETOPPER "

    - which I think sums up the whole escapade in more than one way ;-)

You think? What about me then? I Actually _liked_ the blingmobile,

After struggling to see over the dash I decided it wasn't for me - It
honestly seems like it was designed for someone twice my size.

Still I did laugh when Nigel filtered past us when we were queuing
patiently in a french village :)

That was my fault. If I was riding alone I'd have been straight to the
front but with about 8 bikes following it would have meant a few of
them being the wrong side of the cars going straight on iyswim so I
    decided to wait.

We had plenty of time in hand so I couldn't be arsed filtering in
towns if we were going to end up waiting for the stragglers a couple
of miles up the road but when it was obvious we could all filter then
    off I went.

I really don't like riding in a group like that and tbh as long as I
can see where Adie is I don't give a toss if we lose someone else. Of
course this all goes to shit when I follow signs for the motorway and
she follows whoever happens to be in front without bothering where
    they end up.

That was all rather surreal - you turned left, Statto went straight on
    - I contemplated which to do - and realised the light was red to go
left but green to go straight on at which point stopping was no longer
an option and straight on I went - and so did everyone behind.

I did have a thought of following you but then also had a thought of
    T-boning cars.

It was either go the wrong way or go through the red light because I
was a bit commited. Red lights are for guidance.
I did have a quick look and it was clear...

    If it wasn't gold
And it didn't have a trailer
and they knocked off 40K miles.

    I'd be interested :)

It was referred to in The Mayor of Casterbridge, it was some sort of a
'muesli' style dish which in the case of the Mayor of Casterbridge
resulted in the main character getting pissed (it was laced with
    liquor).

Not sure why I selected it at the time. Couldn't think of anything else
    I suppose.

It's my second, I didn't think the first was that bad to be honest.
Apparently NWS made a revised linkage which sorted it out to some
    extent.

Well, at the time I read a lot of it.

Suprised it wasn't something from Jude the Obscure to be honest; my
    favourite of all Hardy books.
    Well, duh!
