Hmm. You're not talking about the metal ring/washer that holds the
cush drive rubbers onto the wheel, are you?

According to the mechanic the bit I'm missing is sitting inside the
drive unit on the side with the five studs.
Might come in useful, that, cheers.

Probably. If you can get me one to look at, or draw one with the
    critical dimensions on it.

You are warned, however, that time maybe something of an issue over the
next month or so, so if you *do* want it doing, let me know ASAP.

No. Look in the Haynes BOL - page 7.23 - it's Item 4 in the diagram
(15.13 rear wheel components) I assume you are talking about? It's
prolly not even a millimetre thick.
It does sit in there - it sits right inside and is easy to miss and
difficult to remove (it sticks to the bottom of the housing it sits in).
    NP.

Cheers. I'll see if I can get one from a breakers first in the next
couple of days, otherwise I'll see if I can get the dimensions until
    the end of the week.

I did worry that mine was missing after the rebuild - it took a while to
find it but it was there.

I'm sure it's nothing special - ring Honda at Power Road in Chiswick -
ask for customer services - they'll prolly send you one for free.

Remember that story where some rock star type bloke fucked about with a
Roller and the factory bought it back so they could quietly scrap it?

Well, imagine the panic at Honda HQ on Monday morning when they find out
    that Timo's got a Pan...
