Ooops, I don't think he wanted to do that.

On the way into work this morning, I was on a stretch of road which is
renowned for FrogPlod being present. I was in the outside lane,
slowing down whilst coming up to a bridge (where they tend to hide
themselves and flash passing bikes/cars). I also took note of a
Gendarme in the inside lane doing 90kph, so thought it'd be prudent to
match his speed (I was doing a tad more than 90 before I saw him).

Saw in my mirror a bike coming up fairly quickly so moved over. Said
bike went past followed 5 seconds later by another Gendarme who came
so bloody fast and close to me, that I felt the whoosh of the air.

Needless to say he caught up with the other bike in front and whilst
pulling him over, he was bollocking him at the same time (waving both
arms in a very latin style).

Sometimes using the same regular route to work does pay dividends. At
least you know where the buggers are...

Use a PlodBait. Ride like a good citizen, until some bugger riding
faster than the limit passes you, then follow him at 200 yards.
0ccasional plod will get him, and be too busy to get you. Doesn't work
agsint automatic radars, but is quite efficient against the laser
    binoculars.
