Oooops

In my garage there are a load of bits I'm planning on sticking on eBay,
one of which is a fibreglass single/race seat unit that I have
discovered is from an RGV250[1]. While I was sifting through photos of
RGVs just to be sure what it was from I stumbled across this pic.
Thought it might amuse someone.

That looks like a Mondeo Estate reversed into that RGV just in time to
stop the rider looping a damn good wheelie.

And then a good panel beater came along and made the Mondeo look like a
Chrysler Voyager....just to confuse us.

 

my RGV already has full race plastics including a single seat tail
unit, but thanks anyway.

What model is your RGV? I have doubts about this front wheel being
suitable if yours has upside-down forks fitted.

 

yes, we need more "things" for that bike that neither of us has ever
ridden.

i've never even seen the fucker.

 

not sure of the exact model[1] - it's definitely a bitsa track bike.

However, it does have USD forks.

[1] the previous owner didn't know either.

 

I have ridden it. Twice.

It's quite nice. Especially compared to the "style challenged" 7R.

This wheel's not going to be of any use to you, it won't fit the forks
without bearings being changed and new spacers being made...sorry.

Oh well, summat else for eBay to dispose of.

 

no worries - I'm pretty sure the one that Simes has is the right sort.

IME, they go pretty easily.

It doesn't help that

a) it fell of the sidestand in my garage and snapped off a mirror.
b) I ran over an asylum seeker on it and subsequently threw it up

c) it was nicked and thrown in a ditch.

Actually, despite these facts it still looks very similar to when I
picked it up.
