I was on my way back to work after a pleasant luch at PixieCentral, when
some bloke pulled straight out of his driveway and into the side of my
van. I'm bloody glad I wasn't on my bike, cos he hit me with enough
force to rip the back axle straight into the back of the wheelarch,
rendering the Transit immobile. His 4 week old Mondeo doesn't look so
    clever now either.

    British.

But personally I'm with Hadrian on this one.

  16. Really?

How can I put this - Hadrian wasn't really interested in women, quite
the opposite in fact. There's a statue of him less than half a mile
from where I sit now; I'm about 2 miles south of his wall, which was
intended less as a barrier, and more as a "You are now
entering/leaving the Roman Empire, have a bonus diem" sort of thing.

  17. True. I've seen Hadrian's Baths in Leptis Magna, and the baths are
surrounded by the campest statues that you ever dreamed about. Or not,
    as the case may be.
