Ripping off that little lot probably took a fair amount off the total

Only real damage appears to be the little catch that holds the screen
down, but some of the other components appear to have a little more play
in them than they used to.

 

Codeine and paracetamol, prescribed by the hospital. And I can take
Ibuprofen if I need it (but I'm saving that little extra kick for
tomorrow morning).

Not sure yet, but initial indications are much more in my favour.
