    That smarts.

    The usual ingredients: greasy road; queueing traffic; overtaking biker;
impatient driver; fast U-turn; short flying lesson; etc., etc.

Managed to rip the Baglux tank bag (containing my laptop) off its
catches as I went over - I think the catches are still attached to the
bike, managed to tear through the double-layer of material that attaches
them, and that probably explains a lot of the pain around my groin and hip.

Apart from that, some cuts and bruises and a swollen hand. And a very
    second-hand looking Aprilia...

    Oh fook, you clumsy ****.

I don't think there's anything to do with purpling bollocks apart from
grin and bear it - and get some photographs of 'em. Sorby would
prolly oblige if Clare asked him nicely.

Take it easy, 'cos it will hurt more tomorrow, and more again the day
after. But you know all this.

    All the best, mate.

Maybe, did they have a perfect silhouette of a tall, bald bloke in the side
    of their car.

Same thing happened to me and beloved, without the queueing traffic. Our
    first flying lessons!

Hmm... You have a swollen hand and pain around the groin?

Are you sure that poor eyesight wasn't a contributory factor?

Oh, and GWS, you clumsy fucker.

    Just to cheer you up...

One of the blokes I work with turned up with a steering wheel sticking
out of his flies this morning. I looked askance - "Do you know you've
got a steering wheel sticking out of your flies?" said I.

"I know", he said, "it's driving me nuts".

    GWS, you clumsy ****.
