I have no idea why Bjay isn't keeping up with this; after all, it is
    his job.

However, I will usurp (look it up in that new Speak 'n Spell of yours,
Beej) his role for a moment to congratulate one and all contributors
who have taken up the challange of establishing a new 2007 tx.moto
monthly record, and to cheer you on by pointing out that a mere 226
additional messages (225 after this one!) are required to set a new
    2007 monthly record!

If you want to go for the all-time record, I suggest another big-
ticket issue, because you're going to need some major league (read:
outside) help to beat the January 2005, all-time monthly record of
    4,452 posts.

916 down.... (Hey, that sounds like a Ducati crash!)

  10. Well fine then how about an OIL thread or maybe a tire thread. Better yet helmet
laws? Loud exhaust laws that ONLY target motorcycles! Pink motorcycles (mind you
I've only seen it on the net) Chain vs. Shaft vs. Belt drive for motorcycles. Is
ABS good or just a recipe for disaster. Are airbags for motorcycles a good idea.
    GPS vs. Analog navigation?

Those are awfully obvious, to be discussed on a moto NG. Any Moto group
    can talk about those topics.

  17. To the best of my dated knowledge the oil one is the only one worth arguing
over...too many capped wells that would be profitable NOW! As for helmets...you
ought to wear one but if you don't put me in your will for the contents of the
garage. Exhaust laws? Long as it isn't straight pipes it should be legal. 8^)
Hell my stock exhaust exceeds the current laws and it's DOT certified.

    1. Helmets save lives, no doubt about it.
2.We need to get back into drilling our on oil for our own economy. in
Alaska, and east Texas. & keep it here in america. no sharing.
Our Government could chastise the oil companys in to coming down on
    price per gallon of gas.
Those billion dollar CEOs should donate towards helping the common
    american at the gas pump.
High gas prices are Bush's fault, no doubt about it.
3.Loud Pipes are a safety factor, they save lives. Quite pipes are
    dangerous.
