I've searched via Google and can't find it, so what is the URL for the

You can do it without, you just need a code that's printed on your V5.

I did the Thou at the beginning of January using this because my
reminder didn't have the reference on it. Worked fine and I got the
confirmation letter from the DVLA a week or so later.

Decent info about a vehicle if you enter a registration as well. Anyone know
what a date of liability is? I'm assuming when the tax runs out but cant be
assed to go out to the car..........

Entering my SOBs / SOC, the dol certainly corresponds to when the last

  12. The last V5 on my first bike was issued in 1990. So that lasted 5 years
then. Bought it brand new in 1985 :(

  14. My DT125 has disappeared completely. The others appear to be still on
the road/in storage/rusted to bits and the owner still has the V5.

  16. Heh. My Blackbird:

The vehicle details for R281 FJO are:

    Date of Liability 01 07 2004
    <snip>
    Vehicle Status Unlicensed

They don't seem to have noticed that I exported it. I wonder if I'll get
    a summons?

Mine (W203WHS) says that it's exported. I suppose I'd better figure out
how to bring it back now.

  18. Means the date that the tax ran out (or is due to run out) and then the
vehicle becomes liable for tax again unless it's sorn'd.

  19. Haven't a clue. But here's a tip: If your newsreader won't do it
automatically, remove everything after and including the "-- " when
replying. It's called "snipping sigs", and not doing it will get you
ignored or flamed around here, because they're a bunch of bastards.

I'd guess it's when the current tax runs out.
