Quiz organised.
Up to 4 persons to a team ONLY (Really clever gits can go it alone if they
want)
45 Questions of 15 questions to a round
Exchange answer sheets after each round for marking,
Round 1 General Knowledge and Music
Round 2 Motorcycling related generally
Round 3 General Knowledge and Alkyhole
Each round will have an anagram as the last question
2 tie breakers, and a BEER round question with 1 (one) FREE drink to each
team participant that is considered nearest answer, and a tie breaker for
the clever gits that tie on the Beer round.

Prizes similar to the last events Raffle, (and thank **** I aren't doing it
I hear you shout), of
Bottles of Wine and T shirts donated by the pub host and others.
Entry will be £1 per person. All proceeds going to Landlords charity of
choice.

Should take about 1hr if all goes well and be a bit of fun and as
entertaining as a raffle.

I seem to recall I posted something along the lines of:

"Take a fucking good look at yourselves. Fucking pub quizzes and
raffles. Is this what it's come too? How fucking middle aged.

Go out now and kill yourself, really, it needs to be done. You know

If course I daren't post anything like that any longer because it
appears that Father Jack wants to "feel my pain".

I'm also too fucking knackered after spending all day changing disks,
pads and shit.

 

Ohhh, This afternoon I've managed to rebuild the forks, new seals, adjust
the headraces and file off the middle spacer on the front wheel hub /and/
I picked up my 4 pot brembos this morning.

I also got to marvel at the amount of play in the rearsets and what a
fucking bastard dropping the forks out was. Getting them back in was an
absolute shitbag ...

Not as shitty as a quiz, mind.

 

The changing shit part sounds worrying. Worrying and messy.

 

It's cunningly disguised as a shin-bruiser.

Fucking thing. I know it's going to criple me over the next couple of
months. I've walked into it twice when it was in the adjoining pit, it's
going to be fucking awful having it in the pit I'm 'working' in.

I suggest people bring their own earplugs 'cos I expect that when I bash
my shins I'll have a little bit of a loud sweary.

piss-up with some of the pub crew, should be a good w/e.

I'm now regretting not getting a replacement tent when I had the money
