One up for the Mayor

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Dr Ivan D. Reid, Dec 29, 2008.

  1. Searching archives reveals no discussion on this, so sorry if it's
    dymond-tinted...

A glimpse of a poster at a bus stop today sent me to search TfL's
web-site where I found this document:
    http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/red-route-bus-lanes-motorcycles-allowed-to-travel-in.pdf

From next Monday, motorcycles, scooters, and powered tricycles (*NOT*
sidecar combinations) will be allowed into many red-route bus lanes within
London. However, note it's not _all_ bus lanes, so double-check that there is
a sign permitting motorcycles whenever you use one. See also
