One piece leathers and summer gloves!

Took advantage of the milder weather today and even managed to put the
summer leathers and gloves on (but kept to thermals underneath because of
the air vents in the gloves and suit).

It was really the first time I could use the power of the Blackbird now I
have got used to it as I have only had it since November. Third gear
acceleration is trully breathtaking and I forgot just how much distance you
can put between you and the car being overtaken with just a few seconds of
hard throttle. After about 90 the Blackbird is in a different league to the
1200 bandit.........and definately in another league for handling and build
quality.

Every now and then a day comes along which makes you realise why you have a
bike. I'm grateful that I managed to experience a day like this in winter!
