One more sleep!

    One more sleep, and the road-train will depart for PI and all points in
    between. It'll be interesting to see how much impact the trailer will
    have on rear tyre wear. On the recent run to St George it certainly had
    an impact on fuel consumption. Went from 240 km per 15 litres without
    the trailer to 200 km per 15 litres WITH the trailer.

    Mind you, bike and trailer together are longer than a standard car. lol

    First three days of the run should be pretty good. First sign of wet
    weather looks like being at Bairnsdale on Wednesday evening.

    Don't forget the dinner at the Village Green
    6 pm onwards at the corners of Ferntree Gully road and Springvale road.
    Piss easy to get there if you are coming up from the monash freeway.
    Just take the Springvale road exit and then head straight and the place
    is on the right.
    Clem and Pete will be your guides.
