Drag artists, wet t-shirt competitions, girlie mud- wrestling, psychotic bouncers... those were the days. It could only have been better if we weren't in constant fear of being ripped limb from limb by the local neanderthal young farmers who envied our fancy footwork and silver-tongued chat-up lines.
I think it's partly derelict now, and the half that's in use is a garden centre. As for "ambience", that's what the locals get taken away in after a few too many pints of Stella and a fight. If you got away from this place, well done.
