Finally sold the Beemer - got $9K which made me VERY happy, given it was a 6
year old bike with 60K kms on it. (Still got an SV650S for sale if anyone
wants it, if I can ever get it back from the girl who has borrowed it)

I must heartily recommend http://bikesales.com.au - sold the bike within 36
hours of the free listing. A guy from Qld flew down to pick it up.

Around the same time my lovely wife acquired a rather tasty 1999 R6 race
bike, formerly of the Northside Motorcycles race team and which I am
*informed* won a 6 hour endurance at Oran Park in 2000 (no idea of the
veracity of this claim - anyone know how to check these sorts of things?).
So she will be going whizz whizz at EC, and probably passing me regularly in
    the process. (Dammit).

The bike was owned by Matt Jory

They finished 10th in the 6 Hour at Eastern Creek in 2000

Don't hold yer breath. Sarah looks a lot more comfy on the
SV than she did on the Across that she borrowed in weeks
    before!

What exactly is wrong with her TRX anyway?
