    Sounds like it was a fun project! I like fixing things...
    (I did take the carbs apart once at an Airhead tech day...had lots of
    teeny bits left over and had to start again)

    In my case, I needed the help of the security guard to set the bike
    aright. Since there were now witnesses, and since the car my bike was
    making love to was there first, I left a note. Total damage to the bike
    was one bent clutch lever and a broken mirror. The car had a dent in
    the hood. It was built by a Korean manufacturer that had since gone
    bankrupt, making the replacement part very expensive and taking a while
    to arrive, thereby running up some considerable replacement rental
    charges.

    I learned the block-of-wood trick from that incident, but 3 months later
    traded that bike in on a 4 wheeler. It hasn't tipped over yet.
