Indeed. There was one very like that but using a Fiat engine and box
up at the Hartside cafe last qweekend. Nice tool for a Sunday
    afternoon bimble.

Probably because the car rotted away, and it was the only useful thing
he could think of doing with the good bits ;-)

A bloke by the name of Bear (not the Bastard one) built a BSAustin -
swinging-arm A10 frame, Austin 1100 engine (when I saw it, the gear
lever was a pair of mole-grips), and, to set the whole ensemble off, a
Bantam petrol tank. Answers as to "why" are lost in the mists of time,
and possibly the clouds of cannabis smoke, this being 1978 or so.

  10. There was a rather shit-scared Ged in between as well, ISTR.
In exchange for a laptop for Jamie, if memory serves.

I'm really starting to get a bit obsessional about hacks, thought
sticking a chair on the Drifter is starting to look a bit non-starter.

    Oi, Peter - CIHAGM?

He sabotaged it in London to get recovered to Manchester (or
similar). When the AA Man fixed it Ged told him to 'unfix'
it and drag him north 'cos he wasn't riding the fucking
    thing.
