    (The Older Gentleman) spouted the
    following in
No. That's what you are trying to twist my words to mean.

British Sovereign Territory? that phrase sounds so fucking pompous when
used in relation to a windswept island off Argentina.

The French got there first TOG. Get over it.

And heres another one for you:

1790. Spain and Britain sign Nootka Sound Convention in which Britain
formally renounces "all colonial ambition" in S.America and adjacent
    islands.

Did they have their fingers crossed behind Their backs when they signed?

  2. As I said it was for fertilizer production:
Amition, Demeton, Paraoxon and Parathion use the same chemicals as nerve
    agents.

  3. I think the reference you are looking for is:

Fighting for Peace is like fucking for virginity.

  4. Over 70% of Americans questioned recently thought that. They also
answered yes to getting their news from Fox.

Scary isn't it? That our greatest allies are _that_ stupid.

It also shows the deliberately evil and corrupt nature of the unelected
    and fraudulent Yankee Junta.

It was the American's friend's the Saudis who rammed those jets through
the WTC, and the people of Iraq are still paying for it with their
    blood.

No he doesn't, but I thought you did when you made the remark.
It's a bit embarrassing that the Yanks seem to be so stupid.

Ah, reference to the great lie that Gore's regime would have been any
    different.

That's a bit harsh. Have you spent much time in America recently and
seen their media? Manipulated possibly but stupid? No. I don't accept
that. Most Americans I know are as intelligent as the next man. Their
education system seems good enough to me (from my limited knowledge of
it). They are very introspective though and *on the whole* not that
well travelled; then again with a country that large it doesn't surprise
    me.
Well, there's no doubt that the election was not that 'clean' in
Florida. It's arguable that Bush should have lost. I don't think it's
that clear-cut though. It's a great shame that Ralph Nader was just too
fucking arrogant to ask his supporters to vote tactically; had he done
this we most probably wouldn't have had the Bush president or the Iraq
    'war'.
I doubt it was the Saudis who did that. It may have been Saudi citizens
but not an officially state sanctioned action; IMO.

Of course, a more paranoid person might choose to believe that certain
persons in America persuaded the Saudis to carry out the '911' attack to
develop the state of emergency in the mind of the public to allow
changes in laws etc, the exploitation of Iraqi oil production etc. etc.
etc. This may be true; I hope (and generally believe) that it isn't.

  9. No, it's not. You are saying that it's OK for the Argies to fire small
arms, attack British servicemen, etc as long as nobody gets badly hurt,
but against the rules to attack a warship and drown hundreds. I'd love
to know where the dividing line is.
But it's Ok if applied to a nice sunny promontory off Spain? The weather
has nowt to do with it.
So? The Norsemen got to America before Columbus. What does this have to
    do with it?
I'd rather say they they didn't intend to do any *more* landgrabbing,
which is how I'd interpret that phrase.

Look, I'm ending this argument with you. You have repeatedly spouted
complete bollocks, and there's little point in arguing with someone
whose knowledge of the subject is so painfully lacking.

  10. This is, I think, the ultimate irony.

Christ, I'm glad everyone doesn't take such a hard line in here or I'd
have no one to argue with. Apart from myself.

Possibly close running second is that more people die per annum in the
USA due to firearms than at the WTC. But you don't see the yanks
    limiting gun ownership.
