Well; Darkside, WYWH and Animals were fine albums.

Mind you they all encourage depression.

What about when they cut Capex across the board, then realise they've
gone too far and have to fiddle things so they're classed as Opex?

Then the bean counters try and cut that too.

If they hadn't meant to take the Islands by force, then maybe they
should have gone unarmed. It was clearly a military operation, no matter
how you dress it up or down.

I have every sympathy with the lost British sailors, and especially with
their families. You still didn't bother to go back and read what I wrote
    did you?
    I don't much care. Sorry.

Given Britains status as the 3rd (IIRC) largest arms expoter in the world
(Remarkable for such a small country), I'd guess it could already have
happened, but no-one's about to tell us about it. There again, most of our
european partners don't go charging around the world loosing off torpedoes
do they? Not even when they lose the odd colony here or there.

The real sickener is that someone ^up there confirmed my suspicion that the
real reason the establishment was gung ho to recover the Malvinas/Falklands
was because it's sat on oil deposits. Which means that the lives of the
sailors on the Sheffield were sacrificed to protect oil interests which
    haven't since been developed.

What a waste of human life. Blood for oil.

    I thinks it's despicable

    Would you agree?

And the answer, considering the task force was a very long way away, was
    no.
Could you point out where I claimed that?

218 miles is well inside the range of the aircraft available had the
carrier come out. Sadly we were at war and it was better to "encourage"
the rest of their fleet to stay at home. Just imagine the loss of life
on both side if all the various weapons were used.

    reason.

    So no evidence then.
Confirmed your suspicions or agreed with them> I doubt anyone's in a
position to give an authoritative view on the Falklands in this NG.

Maybe the oil deposits are currently not economic to exploit and it's
only once the supply reduces that it will be economic to exploit it?
Well, it would depend on how much oil and how much blood. I'm afraid
that I don't have as much feeling for humanity as you're exhibiting.

So little time, so many posts. That's a no.
I don't intend to; but I didn't attempt to 'do' any psychoanalysis as
you put it. I gave my perception of you based on what you'd posted.
You can disagree with the image I've portrayed but you can't disagree
that it's my perception; although to be fair you did say my perceptor
    needed oiling.

I'd like to see that but unfortunately several people who should be boiled
    in oil will profit greatly.

Because Spain's within the EC and we, unlike certain other nations one
could name, take our responsibilities to the EC seriously.

There are after-effects of all the munitions used. My late father was in
Burma and the memories never left him.

It's the way of modern business isn't it. You need to get high enough
within an organisation and then failure is simply another opportunity to
    get paid a lot.
