they were already booked up, but the manager reckoned as long as
someone turns up early-ish (around 7 or so) we should be able to get
one of the "non-bookable" tables. Whatever that means.
I don't mind it; mainly I suggested it because it's one of the least
    shit bars near Covent Gargen.

  2. Don't worry, should I make it there will be plenty of interesting
people for me to talk to. I shan't bother you.

The woman I met wasn't staying near any of the decent drinking
    establishments.

On thinking about it, we did move on to another place afterwards but
all I can remember about it is here ordering a bottle of 'Wanker' beer.

Hmm, in hindsight, I meant the East Village. No idea what it was called,
I buggered off straight to some Yemeni place up the road for a pllateful
    of meat.

Still, couldn't be much worse than McSorleys as novelty bars go.

Yeah, Chumley's is better. If you can find it.

The "why have a drink in one, large glass when you can have it in two,
small ones" concept of McSorley's is crap. As is the beer. Nice
cheese and English mustard sarnies, though.
