    the best excuse I can come up with is "Veggie Dave said they're good",
    which isn't, well, a very good excuse.

    I don't really know why, TBH, just fancy something slow as well as
    something fast.

    That's alarmingly cheap. They asked for a lot more than that from me, for
    rather less bike(s). You must be an older git than me.

    Formule Tre, (or something) and they're Italien. They've done several
    interesting Triumph specials. I think they did a sort of Speed Four
    prototype as well.

    it'd be about twice the TPF&T for me to insure the bikes FC - this is
    because I'm inside the M25, and only have 6 years no-claims bonus.
