If you ask they'll probably tell you it's the fee for shipping the bike
    from Milwaukie to Canberra.

Well there you go ... congrats. Just gotta stay with the v-twins. Hope
that you are in for a long and happy union.
Made a good start by not using a masculine name :) Remember to use
plenty of moisturiser on that delicate face
once you start with the open face helmet, then I suppose a bandana
    will be in order ...

Oh you are evil! I cannot possibly get one of those open face ice cream
bowls - not ever! Firstly, they are too Harleyish. Secondly, my contact
    lenses wouldn't cope with a full-face wind! Give me a full-face helmet!

(I must confess, though, to an evilly subversive desire for a bandana....
but not one of those boring skull ones....not that it'd be visible inside my
nice full-face helmet... but maybe one with a giant toothy grin.... or
perhaps one with hearts and flowers and frilly things... seeing as I'm such
    a big girly...

and a must is one of those
long strapped calico type bags - will be able to carry your stuff to
    Jindabyne in it.
    Regards, PTR

Oooh, thanks for the reminder Rockit! Must register for Snowy Ride soon!!!!

It's a few years now since I taught grade three. Thanks for the memories.

(Oh, and for the hard of thinking, my comment referred to atec77
inadvertently nominating himself as one more who has been talking
horseshit for years, since that is the most reasonable construction I
can place on his attempt at terseness.)

And I do hope the sorts of HD riders who tried to run a co-worker off
the road some (OK, many) years back because she had the temerity to ride
a HD all by herself are no longer active.

Did you happen to get the part number?

    Just asking.....

(I mean.. it might be cheaper to order them from Germany...)

Of course there are , just like zealots in other areas but thankfully
rather thinner on the ground these days just like Nsw chances of winning
    a footy game in Qld

    Actually, no, I didn't.

I was too busy sniggering at the concept!

They were in the $10 tray, but $10 for a pair of knickers is kinda
    pricey to me.
You mean from China, via Germany?

    regards,

I do point out that many years ago someone got a poser permit for
wearing undies with his bike's model designation on them.

Of course he made them not bought them, and there is the difference!

I have a two metre red scarf with Moto Guzzi and the Guzzi eagle on
both ends in black and some nice black tassels on the ends. I knitted
    it myself 30 years ago.

    Does that count?
