Looks fairly good to me. They sound like they are taking the issue
seriously, and gave you a contact for the most appropriate person to
    take this further.

Do you think you will contact VMAC?

Of the roads listed, Noojee->Powelltown is the only one I am faimilar
with, and I have noticed over the last 12 months a number of upgrades,
and a number of new signs with 'a symbolic skidding motorcycle', but it
sounds like they are planning even more work. It will be interesting to
    see what happens...

Yep. I'd be stupid not to contact them.
There was a story in the local paper last week that mentioned about
$110,000 being spent jointly on the Nayook-Powelltown section of road
(which I thought was dirt, but must now be sealed?) and the Walhalla
road. The works alluded to by local mumbler Ian Maxfield included signs,
"protecting" culverts and driveways, signs, attention to the road
surface on corners, and more signs.

  4. The Mt Hotham to Omeo stretch and Harrietville to Mt Hotham stretch
    has had similar treatment.

Yeah, I actually got caught up in the works on that road about a year
ago, but it is pretty nice now. I generally tend to go past it though
on to Nojee...but thinking about it, you can still get to Nojee via a
skinny road directly from Neerim. I quite like those tiny little roads,
even if you can't scream along them.
I've never done that - I think I better this weekend. [License back in
