old helmet disposal ?

    I recall someone had suggested old helmets were useful for
    emergency worker rescue drills (simulated motorcycle crash
    victim aid). Anybody know any south bay outfit that might
    be interested in accepting a few ?

    Highway Patrol might use 'em. I was in Traffic Court one day, and a CHP
    brought in a beanie and full-faced helmet, cut in half to display the
    lack of protection in the beanie.
