Old fart buys old CX500

    All of the above (depending on how you read usenet, I suppose...) is good
    advice. And, heres my bit.

    Air Filter.

    I`ve never owned a bike that was so fussy about it, and they clog up quite
    easily so I believe. My own CX went from 35MPG around town to over 50MPG,
    and ran so much better, just by poking a few holes in the old filter with a
    screwdriver. Take it out completely and it`ll run like a bag o shite. I`ve
    got a new filter in there now mind you, and everything is happy.

    Apart from that, jobs a goodun.
