    I wasn't clear[1]. I meant what triggers the colour change? Do they
    cycle through a range of colours over time, you link them to rev
    counter and they change with revs, speed, temperature, ...

    [1] Or maybe I was clear and I'm being "wooshed".

  11. If I had to hazard a guess, I's say they're miniature versions of those
    disco spotlights that have the circles of coloured plastic film in front
    of them but in the case of the dash lights, these are internal and
    driven by heat rather than electricity.
