    WTF
It's a wireless keyboard in my office but it has new Li batteries.

I admit however that I'm using two computers and a keyboard/mouse at each
hand, as well as completing post-it notes with t'other hand.

It's very interesting how the brain and the body respond
Happy as I am to to impart good vibes I was rather more exploring MJ's value
system as I had him down as a smart fellow and worth listening to

Why not support Slavery, Religious Cults, colonialism, Eugenics, Fascism,
    Tribalism/Race hate.

    I'm sure you don't.

Or did the advent of the mechanical digger make burying the odd 10 million
dissenters easy enough to be acceptable.

    In short, capitalism.
Why do you think it has to be that way every time, every where?

The charitable way to view Hog is that he's a troll or the other way
is to decide that he's a fucking nut job. Take your pick.

    Complete bollocks
The crimes of the last century.
Mao, Stalin, Castro, Pol Pot, Khomeini, Hitler, Saddam, Pinochet, Franco
    All the fucking same.
    Always the fucking same.

Personal freedom is where it's at.

It's boring to suggest that discussing subjects open to controversy and
polarisation is trolling, even if it is non bike. Beats the shit out of
mobile phones. Or that UKRM discusses original thought.

I considered briefly that he might be some sort of cyborg but discounted it
on the basis that basic programming would include fuel selection skills

Personal freedom causes an excess of inequality? how very profound

It's not exactly news that utopian ideologies tend not to work out too
well in practice. The reason it's still worthwhile to "support
communism" is that it is a proposed solution to social organization which
is based on equality and internationalism. That doesn't make it the whole
solution, but it does bring some new ideas to the table, which are missed
by, for example, capitalism, which depends on inequality, or liberal
democracy, which has no answer to nationalism. It's a useful part of
    political theory.

And it is distinct from most of your suggestions above in being based (in
theory if not in practice) on values which are generally considered to be
    fair and humane.

Whatever Communism is it isn't equality for all

It is exactly that. Once again you're confusing the idealogy with the
    attempts at implementation.

Well there isn't much point discussing the theory, it isn't physics, but
even in the ideology one "special" group form and decide what all the
ordinary folk have to do, think and say

Pretty much they have groupings, not so much they tell you everything you
    may or may not do.

It doesn't have to be as much as we have though, does it. Though I admit
that the opportunity for personal freedom reduces somewhat as the density of
    population increases.

At some level, everything you discuss is theory. More practically,
constitutions and laws are theory. Less practically, theoretical concepts
about social organization (e.g. the social contract) help us think about
how to organize ourselves. So yes, there is a point in discussing the
    theory.

I mentioned physics for a reason. There is no point in discussing impossible
theory, like how man can fly to Mars on wings of paper or how totalitarian
government can deliver freedom for all.

So you'd like to ban research and discussion of anything that's not
within our current understanding and knowledge of life, the univers,
and everything? You sound just like the catholic church of a few
    hundred years ago...

No I just don't think that discussing how fascism or communism can be
reformed into acceptable forms of government after last century is
    reasonable.
