  2. Assistant City Attorney John Penland asked the jury to look at the
incident from Marek's point of view. With his "leathers," black
motorcycle, and "Team Satan" sticker, Infante presented a
    menacing spectacle

I figure it was the "Team Satan" sticker.

  3. Typical Bike Trash mentality... they should follow my Rider's Creed...

A rider should ride with an absolute command of one's temper... so as
not to provoke to passion upon any account a stupid cager... patience
to witness the slater of the fine art of driving... with address enough to
refuse gestures... and by your manner of granting their stupidity and
dexterity enough to conceal the truth... sagacity enough to read other
cagers countenances and serene enough to not let them discover
anything by yours... riding on with a frankness with real reserve...

I remember those biker movies of the 60s when I was a kid. The biker
gang pulls up alongside the family station wagon and starts terrorizing
them with flailing chains and boots. I always wondered why Dad didn't
just jerk the wheel to the side and take 'em all out.

I guess this cager might've seen the same movies and wondered the same
    thing...

It's easy to take the biker's side of this because we ride motorcycles.
But neither party is totally innocent, and the car driver should have
been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, as well as battery.

I think the charge of disorderly conduct against the biker was correct.
He should have just ridden away without saying anything at all.

However, If another person is trying to kill you or kill somebody else,
you can kill them, that's justifiable homicide under the law. Of
course, you would have to defend yourself against manslaughter charges
in court and testify that you believed you or someone else was about be
be killed by the criminal actions of the person you killed. And you'd
have to show that you used the proper level of force in the incident.

The driver of the car in the newspaper article probably never claimed
that the biker was waving a weapon around, though. Did the car driver
claim that he believed that the biker was trying to infect him with the
AIDS virus? The biker was tested for AIDS afterwards.

Is spitting on somebody "assault with a deadly weapon"? It probably is,
if the person doing the spitting knows he's infected with AIDS.

But, so far as I know, the police don't shoot spitters very often, and
law enforcement officers and correctional officers do get spit on
    frequently.

Larry's still suffering from the dot-dot-dots, I see. I remember when
and where he caught the dots. He's had them ever since...

But he's right. Bikers cannot take on the whole world and educate them
on a one-on-one basis. There will always be another idiot in a car
causing another problem just a minute later. So, whatever happens, get
    over it and move on.

    Huh?

"In the end, Weisberg's arguments swayed the day. After deliberating for several hours, the jury
returned the verdict: not guilty on all counts. "
