If they're fitted, they have to work though. So take them, and the switch
out if you don't want those bits to be MOT'd.

Now don't be doing anything silly with it like wheelies or such ;-)

And remember, clean underpants, you never know what may happen.

    Congrats.

And to answer the question you're about to ask, no, I haven't.

They are. I have ridden behind that bike and commented on it. I found
that they are difficult enough to see when you are actively looking to
get the window so that you can tell Blaney how kin small it is.

    You /need/ a Bandit12, mate. Medically ;-)

  11. Not in large volumes in my previous experience.
Or at least you can, but the bike then stands up thus no longer going
    round the corner as intended.

The worst bike I found for that was a cbr6

"they" being the intended new LED versions. So unless you have the
    ability of substantial foresight, this:
    Ain't relevant.

    Yet.

  14. Oh, the arsing about, the hard ride is good.

But after a two-tankful-length run, I found myself not wanting
to sit down for a day or two...

  15. Well I did about 60 miles yesterday, which was lovely.
However something really does need to be done about that clutch.
Either that or I'm going to have to remember to use neutral at every set
    of traffic lights.

on a more "interesting note" I spun the back end this morning, just
coming off a roundabout, I spotted a car who hadn't spotted (or had!) me
and was going to cut me up. So I eased the throttle open a bit more to
get out of the way and felt the back end slide rightwards. Probably only
and inch or two at the most, but it was an interesting feeling.

Not necessarily. My Guzzi still has its switch.

  17. Even if having a swtich meant you had to have working indicators, what
would stop you sitting on the bike, flicking the switch and sticking the
relevant arm out in a hand signal motion.

I knew a guy who's horn wasn't working at MOT time, so the MOT'er
suggested that perhaps if matey sat on the bike and shouted very loudly
(open face lid) he might just be able to accept that as an audible warning.
