OK State Police Hayabusas

Oklahoma State Troopers are going to be having some fun at your expense
if you let them. this from Cycle World, July 2006 issue :

Okie motor officers will soon be able to run down and ticket anything
this side of a Ferrari Enzo, thanks to their new "Police Interceptor"
Suzuki Hayabusas. Apparently, the U.S.'s fastest bike cops will get
special training at the California Superbike School.

sounds like it's going to be fun to be an okie motor officer. i also
wonder how long this will last in actuallity between tires and
maintainance expense, not to mention the first officer that wads one up
(and possibly himself) during a high speed chase. gonna be hot too come
july and august.

the TxDPS was smart enough to get the chrysler Hemi 300C cars with air
conditioning. chase 'em in comfort and keep that uniform neat and tidy.
besides, nothing outruns motorola.
