ok, Head count - who's not in here today...

    ** Motorcycles burst into flames in pile-up ***
    Four motorcycles burst into flames in a five bike pile-up in the NSW Hunter
    region, police say.

    A 35-year-old man was riding on Putty Road, Howes Way, about 1.45pm (AEST)
    yesterday when he lost control on a bend.

    Four bikes travelling behind him crashed into the roadway, with all four
    bursting into flames.

    Passing motorists helped the riders escape the flames but three of them were
    airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with serious leg injuries, including a a
    26-year-old Sydney man from Quakers Hill, and two Central Coast men aged 27
    and 30.
