Today I have serviced the regal barge, seeing as it was last done 3000 miles
    ago.

Changed the oil and filter: The old stuff was still oily, and the filter
didn't have any bits of bearing / piston ring / other metallic items in it.
Refilled with some luvverly semi synth stuff from Halfords.
Cleaned and gapped the plugs: They were all only about finger tight (dunno
why), but were all a nice tan colour. I guess this sort of indicates that
my fuelling worries are all in the mind, so I feel a damn good thrapping
    coming on.
Didn't do the air filter: Cos Onyerbike hadn't received it from Kawasaki.
    Finally fitted the Smartwater stuff.

All in all a pretty good day despite the weather, and this evening SWMBO
appears to have left me [1].

[1] She's going shopping in Swindon tomorrow so is staying overnight in
Cirencester. She was not impressed when I said I wasn't coming as I have an
    appointment with the bike.
