Have you ever checked the oil on a Voxan?

Whilst I take your point Mr Champion, I'd refer you to my 'Darwinian'
point in an earlier post. Control and balance, that's what
motorcycling is all about, after all. That and nice short haircuts
    and shiny shoes.

The Daytona (T595 version) has a sight window on the right, just in the
right place to be covered by the belly pan. You can just about see where
the oil level is in good light.

Surely the problem goes away as soon as you fit the sidecar?

'Strue. I've held Steinway Grands up with one hand while a colleague
fixed the legs on; the balance point is key.

Is the dipstick on the left?

    Possible bait.

No, but its dry sump, with a very high narrow oil tank.
    Possible clue.

    Stand over the bike?

A reasonable suggestion, however, a combination of being vertically
challenged and the positioning of the dipstick make the contortions
necessary more hassle than the 'balance point' strategy, in my case at
    least.

Prolly a US import that had been converted to a LHS sidestand.

Well, if you will use those fancy LK grips. I expect you had the
    matching luggage?

Those boots need a bit of attention, now you mention it.

  12. Which is why centre-stands were invented. That and for turning the bike
around in the garage using a small bike turntable.

Except my Tiger hasn't got one of those either, they are available as an
    optional extra though.

  15. I know. And guess what - I bought one and (gasp) fitted it myself.
    Radical eh?

Your choice - I can think of better things to spend the money on.
Interesting though that Triumph started fitting them as standard to
    later models.
