I've run out of Guzzi oil filters [1] the "tabella comparativa" on the
back of the UFI 23 149 00 filters [2] list a Purolater FC 601 as
    compatible.

I have a Mann W712/9 that is listed (by Mann) as compatible with the
    Purolater.

Can anyone furnish me with bypass pressures for the three types? I've
tried Google but drawn a blank.

[1] Given my recent oil related joy-joy I thought I'd take this
opportunity to change the oil and filter and have a poke about
in the sump. Which needs removing to change the filter.

[2] As supplied by Wessons for the 850 round barrel engines.

Sorry, I've checked the books in the shop and the Fram website, but
    nothing gives the actual techspec.

Incidentally, the Fram equivalent (to both of the makes that you
mention - which is nice!) is the PH2839, which costs £5.99.

    Thanks for looking,

I assume the book doesn't list the UFI equivalent, only the Purolater and
    Mann.

Oddly the UFI box doesn't list a Mann equivalent, only Purolater.

(the felt pen writing is mine).

The OE ones are about £5.80, mail order, and the Mann one, from the local
motor factors, was also £5.80. I'll have to order some but the Mann one
will do until the next change.
