Oi Lozzo...

  1. I assume you are texting a UK-based phone, not one which is on an
overseas network? I still find this strange, because I send text
messages to clients across the world on a regular basis, and the
charges come up on my O2 bill at the same rate as for messages sent
    within the UK.
I reckon that is film industry stereotyping. They all seemed very happy
with their lot. Mined ewe, I was told by those with whom I was working
that Westerners can expect to be accosted by those fitting the
stereotype within a few paces of leaving the hotel.

As for jobs; your employers have started to lurk on ukrm, so expect a
call to discuss your position very soon. :)

  2. As Lozzo has said, I am just back from a tour and audit of the factory
where they are made, and IMHO you will find it difficult, if not indeed
impossible, to match the quality for the money, and the specification
is impressive. One of my tasks was to try and identify ways in which
the helmets could be improved still further, but I have to admit to
being left scratching my head for ideas.

  3. Weight will depend on the size of helmet, but IIRC somewhere in the
region of 1325 grams was quoted.

Anyway, it's summer and it's a Sunday, shouldn't you be out waving

    somewhere.

Probably. But gentle piss-taking's much easier on the knees.

Are you lot making a flip-up wivva sun visor yet? If not, why not?

Cheers for the heads up Paul, I reckon I'll be getting a replacement for my
HJC AC-10 later this year [1], and recall Lozzo showing me a very
lightweight Nitro at last year's Pixiefest. I reckon a Nitro may well be a
worthy replacement for my HJC (which I have been extremely pleased with,
IMHO a very good quality lid for the money).

I will also possibly be needing a very small lid for my daughter, as she
seems to be wanting a bike when she's 16 in November [2], despite what her
    mother thinks.

[1] NEC Bike Show prolly, unless I have an in depth chat with Lozzo in the
    interim.
[2] A Gilera DNA, resprayed Pink, as "a geared bike would be too
    complicated, and scooters are gay".

I showed you the N1200-VX IIRC. They cost 129-99ukp in metallic black
and 149-99ukp in graphics to you. As worn by Jeremey McWilliams, Dean
Thomas, Steve Plater and John Kirkham in BSB.

    Ask a lurker, I dunno :)

From what I'm told the ones that they are wearing at the moment are.
I've seen all 4 of them racing this year and all of them are wearing
standard painted ones with no special paint jobs etc. I'd guess they
are off the shelf items or they'd be painted up in replica graphics. We
introduced the 1200 range before we signed these riders up, so already
    had a range of colours.

At a guess I'd say that the interiors may have been altered slightly by
the addition of extra padding in places to suit each rider's head
shape, in much the same way as OGK and Arai provide fitting kits.

That's the one, and the price is about what I paid for the HJC 2 years ago
at HG Slough (on your day off).
