When looking at any evidence, you have to trust those providing it.
What's so wrong, in principle about asking people to trust one's own
knowledge around here? You can decide for yourself whether Blaney's the
sort of **** who'd make up a load of nonsense to support an argument, or
    just a normal, run-of-the-mill ****.

    I didn't say I didn't follow it; I said it didn't follow. There's a
    difference.
I said that you didn't say what you were saying in response to my
comment about your first statement not following.
    I think it's quite clear.
Well, you don't appear to be providing a great deal of evidence to the
contrary. So this is a bit of a non-argument.

Thing is, this is one of the few areas of discussion where I reckon I
    know more than the average.

And you are stating as fact the opposite. Why do /I/ have to back my
    position up and not you?

  9. First you don't follow it. Then you deny I said it. Now you don't accept
    it. Which is it?
Probably better not to bother stating it then.

Whittingham, you cheeky monkey. That's a copper, saying that the
reduction in crime rates is because there are more coppers. Well, he
    would say that, wouldn't he!

  11. Sorry about that :) I couldn't resist it.

Did you mean "agenda"? Actually, what you said strikes true too.
Analyst to code-monkey "Oh, didn't you get the updated spec then?"!

  14. It's the spill chucker again.

I never know whether to have it turned on of off. It's just that it
keeps telling me that I shouldn't sign off as Mick as this is an
    offensive term for Irish men.

Been on both ends of that conversation at different times in my life.
