  1. I put it to the froup that the rule of the rattle-gun as king of the
    tools is past.

The angle-grinder, beloved of so many is a spent force henceforth only
    to be used by girly-men.

    For I give you...

    <drumroll>

    The Air Chisel!

    Mwaaa-haaa-haaa-haaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Yours for £8.99 from Aldi, and they should be free on prescription.

Now, please do excuse me, I have stuff to destroy.

You'll be sorry. I converted a knackered air chisel liberated from
work to run off a diving cylinder and after using it to destroy a
submerged structure I impaled my right knee on some of the debris and
    ended up in hospital.

Bit tricky, I'm afraid. I'll be getting back from Sarf Effrika next
weekend, then we're off for a week.

    Following weekend would be betterer.

    Waste of time.

Removing the plasterboard, and re-lining the walls is cheaper, cleaner
    and faster.

Plasterboard? lining walls? Sounds like a fucking bodge to me or a
    cheaply built building.

It might sound like it, but it's the standard way they build houses
these days - dry lining and stud partitions throughout. It's also the
quickest way to go back to a decent surface, even on brick.

I very much doubt this is the approach taken in decent properties. Maybe
    in mass produced ones.

However I'm not in the building trade and apart from a couple of
self-builds I've been peripherally involved with what would I know. In
these self-builds plasterboard was only used for ceilings and in the
loft area. All other areas were bricks and plaster.
