I may be wrong but I seem to recall they were built in the USA like the
    later 'Wings

Someone with a fetish for late 80's touring motorcycles, it would
    appear.

I'm just around the corner from Bristol Parkway station, so if you
need a lift when you collect the 2 wheeled De Lorean, then let me
know. For a suitable bribe, I can be persuaded to leave any form of
    digital camera at home.

Poor sod. That's the worst bike to ever leave a Kawasaki factory. He'll
    regret that soon enough.

So, what would be ideal, then, is someone who lives in that part of
the world, who's been hunting for a GoldWing for quite some time?

If I spot a suitable candidate tomorrow, I shall endeavour to reveal
his identity by handing him a Z200 sidestand. :)

Good plan. Hopefully he'll be a naive elderly type, possibly originally
not from round here, and rather drunk.

What do you think the chances are?

Don't question this statement, or I shall attempt to prove it.

You mean, like "Despite an impressive peak power output of 117bhp and lavish
equipment levels, including a trip computer, the Voyager was comparatively
crude, ungainly and difficult to manage."? That sort of thing?

Still, it's better than many of the Wings on ebay - it doesn't have towel
rails and bogroll holders mounted all over the luggage.

Most musicians, apparently. It's the different note on push or pull that
fucks them up (according to a bloke-wot-I-know-wot-knows).

See, a melodeon I could play blindfold. It's them accordions that
are the root of all evil. And as for concertinas...
