Sure, I'll go and look at them if you like, to help you choose the
    best one.

    Meanwhile, hey JL,

A spares bike is always a good thing to have...

    Especially if it's a Hyosung 250. ;-)

I know someone who is desperate for a front folk leg.

    No there isn't.

OF course the 650 and 250 might have the same front end, dunno it's
    that likely.

However... the 650 front end complete might fit the 250's steering
    stem.

I wonder if the 650 motor would shoehorn in.. "No officer, they all
    look like that".

And these bikes are being written off?!!?
**** me; if THAT doesn't illustrate what's wrong with the insurance industry
    NOTHING will!!

Yes sir; you pay me 1/4 of your bike's value per-annum and if you have a
prang we'll take it from you and give you 3/4 of it's value back (a smidgeon
less than what it was worth anyway!!)

I love the damage on the Daytona 1200.

    Mighty tempting.

Heck the 955 Tiger has possibilities too!

Oooh ta ! Particularly given the Cagiva policy on spares (1).

Actually, I was thinking more of stripping the 250 to fix up the 650,
which I think was marked as LAMS.

From my frequent visits to Procycles :-(, the 250 and 650 Hysungs
appear to be pretty similar, and I'd expect many bits to be interchangeable.

OK I haven't actually sat there with a tape measure.....

Oh, and when Angie and I went to Procycles, to let her see the Triumph,
she saw the Hyosungs and suggested that I could get one of those if I
wanted......at least they come in decent colours.

Hyosung's original plan was to use the same frame and forks for both
the GT250 and GT650. They changed their minds on that after a while,
but I wouldn't be surprised if the only difference between the forks
on the 2 bikes was in quality rather than dimensions. The 250 is a
pretty big chassis by 250cc standards, after all.

Based on my level of enthusiasm for my GPz900R, there's probably not
    much point.

I think I just have to face up to the fact that I prefer little bikes
(not that there's anything wrong with that).

Hey, the GT650R is a lovely bike! Minx has done over 2500km on hers
    in the past year! ;-)

I was wondering that .. I put about 6000 on Fritz before I killed 'im..
and roughly 1500 on the KLX (I've had my license 13 months, and 2 months
of that I've been without a bike). I bought it for the daily 8km to and
from work .. the extra k's were on 'fun'. :)

Nice to see a hyo not being lampooned for a change... thought I only
liked it 'coz I didn't know any better ;)
