Oh My Lueey (and not OT, either!)

Earlier on this evening I was handed a 'package' with 'pictures' in
that a kind lady from my darts team had put aside for me as these
'pictures' were to do with motorbikes.

Oh My.

I cannot beleive what I've managed to get hold of. Some of them will
be worth quite a lot, I think, some of them not so much. But they are
staying right here.

It's a mixture of TT cards/photos and MGP cards/photos too, dating back
to 1907. One of them is a piccie of Rem Fowler (winner of the first TT
in 1907) with John Surtees, who won the Jnr & Snr in 1958.

I'm quite gobsmacked, really.

Doubt it, but they'll be fascinating anyway.

 

Parcel them up and take a run over to Leeds sometime. Be good to put a
bit of narrative background together with each.

I may take you up on that. There's a cracking one of a sidecar, sadly
there is no date on this particular one and I'm having trouble trying
to envisage what part of the course it's on. I've *never* seen anyone
hang off a sidecar like this one!
