    No, can't say I have.
They were the inspiration for the couple in WWTB, as I'm sure you know.

The big fight scene at the end of a matter of loaf and death is a
complete pastiche of Ripley vs the queen at the end of Aliens

  3. Ah, you said "Aliens" with an 's' -- don't think I've seen anything
beyond the first film of the franchise. Reminded me more of Kylie in
    "Voyage of the Damned".

  4. Theres a cracking blu-ray rip out there in filesharingville. Just have a
search for the SecretMyth version. Cant tell the difference between it and a
blu-ray disc when I play it back from my Nvidia ION based media pc over
    hdmi.

But, sorry, you can't buy them, Nvidia made these before the ION launch as
development platforms and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one.

Dual Core Atom on Ion Chipset with GeForce 9400 Graphics, 2GB of RAM and a
500GB Samsung 2.5" HDD, all in a package big enough to slip into your
    pocket. 2 x E-SATA, 6 x USB, Optical SPDIF , 6.1 Surround, HDMI, VGa and
    DVI.

Tiny box, but enough grunt to handle COD2 fullscreen at 1080.

    I like it ;-)

You can get the same spec thouhgh using an ASUS AT3N7A-I.. Was
thinking of building a living room system with one a while back but
    never got around to it.

  10. The Acer Aspire Revo now has a dual-core Atom. I'm waiting for it
to get the ION-II as well before I upgrade mine. I bought the original
Linux single-core version and even after buying 4 GB of RAM[1] it still
cost less than £200. Running Win7 RC and Ubuntu Koala. Its seti@home
    performance approaches a dual-core Pentium D with SSE3.
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/172706 -- that's a 2 GB Win7 version, perhaps
there's no 1 GB Linux model this time around.

[1] If anyone wants the 1 GB memory stick to upgrade one to 2 GB, drop me
    a line.

Having seen SA first, I've now seen a lot of Miyazaki's films, and that
is definitely the best. I like Porco Rosso too. He has a new coming
one out fairly soon, I think.

I love that film. The game ICO reminded me of it too, which perhaps
explained why I enjoyed it so much.

I might go and buy a copy but I certainly wouldn't **** about
    downloading something that size.

I'm about finished with throwing in sickies so I don't know where I'm
going to find time to play computer games and watch films any more.
Having to go back to work after nearly 6 weeks off is fucking harsh.

    Rapidshare. Download manager. Business connection.

Set to cook overnight. Collect in the morning.

Currently I can only play Blu-Ray as a file and it's going to be some time
before I decide on a (region free) hardware player, if ever.
