Now I have got myself a nice new newsreader. It didn't cost me anything,
    which is nice.
It's Pan for Windows, version 0.14.2 which I believe is the latest version
    for Windows.

I can't click on URLs in the message body, even if they are highlighted
    and are underlined.

However, and this is the really odd bit, I *can* click on sigs,
which is very odd. URLs in sigs don't work either.

Anyone have a clue? This is prolly really easy but I can't find it. Have
    tried different charsets.

Welcome to the world of getting slagged off for being upset by other NRs that
    don't work correctly :)
It will be the command to open the browse

    Edit/Preferences/Apps&Mail
    mozilla -remote 'openURL(%s)'

This tells it to open mozilla in a remote window.
I really should point it at Firefox I suppose :=)

Good suggestion but I looked at that before as well.

But... I have just restarted Pan and now everything seems to be working as
    it should.

That was very wierd, being able to click on sigs and have them open a
    browser window.

  12. Feck. It's a newsreader as well?
    I never knew.
How do you get it to work?
Must be one of those buttons on the handlebars.

Usenet compliant Sports Touring 1100cc Motorcycles, whatever next.

Thought: Praps its only on the newer 1300 Pan? A good reason to
    upgrade?

It's not even hit version 1 yet, despite being around for donkey's
years. Are you surprised it's buggy?

Not really working properly though is it?
Not exactly intuitive, or the first thing an idiot user would think of
    though is it? %s?

As opposed to the no-setup-required-just-click-on-the-link of OE, and
    probably most other clients?

    Thats why he asked ...
Its called RTFM, you find them on the web, this one is on the mozilla
site, suprisingly you will find one at microsoft.
No, but as an idiot you obviosuly use OE.

No need to read the manual when it works straight off.
    Obviosuly.
