The oil on the fork leg, that I was hoping was in fact brake fluid I
spilt when I fitted the braided hoses, isn't.

    Arse.

And I have *no* time to sort this out before the French trip, (I leave
on Monday morning for a business trip and don't get back until Thursday
    night).

    Double arse.

I'm going to have to throw it at Colin Collins to sort out. I'm assuming
they won't be able to do it tomorrow.

Can anyone do me a *major* favour, and collect the ZZR from Letchworth
one day next week, so I can come and get it on Thursday evening?

    Fork seal?
I have the special tool and a spare fork seal here. Drop it over or I
can come and do it at yours. Choice is yours.

Err... It might be two fork seals...

How about I go and get a couple tomorrow, and drop the bike round
    sometime during the day?

I'm away this weekend, taking Sharon to see her adopted Orang-Utan[1],
but if you could sort it sometime before Thursday, you'd earn my undying
    gratitude.

[1] This is in no way, shape, or form, a euphemism.

    OK. Size is 43-55-9.5/10
Consider it done, they only take about 2 1/2 hours total to do and I owe
    you favours.
She might not recognise him, I hear he got shaved a couple of weeks
    back.

Aye, I've organised some group trips down there a few times and had
Gordon as an adoptee last year. Shame they don't offer the lemurs
for adoption - they're the best feature of the whole park (not
least because you can all but reach out and touch them)

I could spend all day watching the Orangs - Gordon was utterly
fascinated by my bag of Prawn Cocktail crisps, made for some
    wonderful photo ops.

You've seen the full Monkey Business, I take it?

Ooh, don't tell Sharon. She thinks she's his exclusive mummy now... ;^)
No, we seem to keep missing it.

My mum's got the full set of videos (many a Christmas present that was)
so I may be able to arrange a loan of them at some point.

You're best off getting there _early_. Think it opens around 10am,
and it starts getting busy from 11 onwards. The first hour or so
is prime time though, as the young chimps act up to the crowd to
start the day and you don't have to fight your way through the
mongs to get a decent view.

Ahah! We're heading down on Saturday, and overnighting in a hotel in
Poole. We were wondering whether to go on Saturday afternoon, or Sunday
morning. I guess you've answered that!

    Cheers

One would have though that someone of the Ginger Persuasion would have
appreciated that an Orang-Utan is not a monkey.

Bad Ginga! Ginga no get bananananana.
