Oh dear...

  1. Well, I've just taken it to a green lane. About 6 miles for a mile of
rough track. Oh well. Interesting ride... the first couple of miles
were horrible (so slow!) but after I got to where there were people i
had lots of fun making horrible two stroke noises Bwaaaaaah...
Bwaaaaaah... ring a ding a ding etc.

Green lane was interesting; steep and downhill (on the way back) for
about a mile. At the bottom I thought the bike was dying. Er... no
that will be the front brake siezing on as it gets far too hot. let it
cool for about ten minutes and then got a quarter of a mile before it
siezed again... let it cool for twenty minutes and it was fine.
Suppose I oughta strip and rebuild.

The 200 is a bit frantic, it seems to have quite a narrow power band, I
suppose that's what small capacity two strokes are like.

It's great fun isn't it? I particularly enjoyed going back along the
trail I'd just turned into a dustbowl and trying to peer through the
dust, blue haze and low sun.
    Never ending work?

I was referring to off road action only. I'm almost guaranteed to bin it.

If I've been doing some work on the bike and just want to ride it a mile
or so off road to see if it's sorted then ride home I'll quite happily
do that in jeans and trainers if the conditions allow that.
